George III Mahogany and Satinwood Cylinder Desk

Description

A George III mahogany and satinwood inlaid cylinder bureau, the interior with four short drawers and twenty-four part alphabetised pigeon holes above a pull out writing surface, The lower section with two doors each enclosing two short drawers with brass swan neck handles and further door to left side inside which is a small cupboard . It is on tapered square section supports to brass caps and castors. The desk retains a great colour and well patinated finish and has its original keys and working locks.
