A highly unusual antique Caucasian Karabagh carpet, extremely striking allover design in vivid colours on rich, ruby red ground flanked by large chestnut borders which has corroded out to the knot collars. Minor border missing one end (stopped) some wear and corrosion, with some old repiling, but deep cleaned with all ends and sides secured. Circa 1890
