A Superb Cast Iron Fireback.

Description

This huge iron fireback will add a touch of class to your fireplace, whilst improving the efficiency of the fire by absorbing and releasing heat that would have previously gone into the wall! This lovely piece is decorated with the Royal Oak design which originates from the English Civil War, where the Boscobel oak provided the hiding place for Charles II after his defeat at the battle of Worcester in 1651. This is a large and interesting piece that will prove a real talking point & absolutely ‘make’ an old fireplace.
