A fine Victorian serpentine burr yew and walnut with marquetry inlaid side cabinet (Credenza)
Circa 1860 Gilt metal mounted throughout, with flanking serpentine glazed doors. Pair of burr yew and burr walnut centrally brass fielded cupboard doors.
This is a high quality example of its age and type and with the relatively unusual inclusion/ use of burr yew The baize lining throughout the interior is generally without significant stains/ fading/ damage but with some faults and untidiness where it has been cut innacurately at the edges in some areas. The interior baize requires brushing out/ careful hoovering.
