This 19th century Spectacular Quality Victorian Rosewood Inlaid Antique Writing Desk dates from ca. 1870 and has been built by a true Victorian Craftsman. It has the most striking inlay on beautifully figured rosewood.
Below are four further drawers with the original decorative brass handles and fine inlays. This stands on tapering legs with an unusual curved cross rail and finished with castors. The Rosewood is a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
