Antique William 1v Rosewood Davenport Desk C1820 Wdb4860/7.7

Description

Gorgeous antique william 1v rosewood davenport desk and dating from aorund 1820. It has a shaped and carved gallery back with tooled leather writing slope with crossbanded rosewood edge which opens to reveal a nice interior which is mahogany lined and with two drawers with original knob handles. The whole sits on beautifully scrolled fronts supports leading to a bun foot. To the right side of the desk is a narrow but long pen drawer which slides out and sits at a right angle so can be used to next to the desk. This is above four graduating drawers all of which are mahogany and with original knob handles.

This is a lovely antique william 1v rosewood davenport in very good condition and with a good deep colour and patination to the rosewood.
