Smart walnut desk of neat proportions with replacement tooled black leather writing surface . Fitted with 9 drawers and composed of 3 parts for ease of movement and transportation.
. Raised on integral plinth bases mounted upon original wooden wheel castors beneath the pedestal.

The borders of the top and drawers fronts with striking burr walnut veneers, fitted with original turned wooden knob pulls . The rectangular top with ‘thumb’ moulded edge .
The replacement black leather writing surface with a broad band of ‘blind’ “Greek Key” tooling , ‘blind’ tooled outer edge and inset gilt tooled line .

Of free-standing form , being veneered and polished all around .
A decorative desk of practical scale in excellent condition with a rich colour and patina. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops ready to use.
