This is very well made and of excellent quality. It sits on a plinth base with concealed casters, and has simple but beautiful solid brass handles.

The leather is hand coloured and gold tooled, we have had this desk completely re-polished, so the condition is excellent for its age.
The drawers are finely dovetailed & all have locks. This desk has loads of character, including the leather writing surface. It’s what I call a good medium size, with a generous kneehole space & plenty of work area.
