This 19th Century Unusual Victorian Painted Pine Antique Desk dates from ca. 1870.
The top is moulded above a central drawer over kneehole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with turned handles and it stands on a shaped plinth. This beautiful country house desk splits into three sections for removal and the pine has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
