Mid 18th Century Cedarwood Kneehole Desk

Description

Mid 18th century "Country made" solid cedarwood kneehole desk in good original condition. To start with the desk is a lovely neat size at only 34" wide. The desk stands on its original shaped bracket feet. The drawers all have a quarter round moulded edges, are pine lined and retain their original iron locks and original brass open plate handles. The cupboard also retains its original iron lock with working key. The grain on all the drawer bottoms runs from front to back.

The desk is a very pleasing mellow colour with waxed finish.

Slightly more unusual being in cedarwood.
