Description

An antique weathered Carrara marble bust 19th century or possibly much earlier. Very heavy for its size. Mounted on an iron and cast iron museum presentation style base. Some minor damage to the figure's nose but otherwise just pitted and with traces of verdigris . Very well sculpted and in superb proportion retaining a serene comforting look.
