An extraordinarily moving piece by an outsider artist who must have spent many a day conceiving, cutting, hammering, soldering and welding this stunning metal group made of tin and iron. The result is something completely individualistic, which at the same time recalls early medieval "primitive" religious sculpture. However, there is no need to be religious to appreciate this work of human ingenuity dating from the second quarter of the 20th Century .

With overall measurements of 39 x 23 x 11 cm , the height of the Virgin mother alone is 29cm. The height of the child is 12cm.
