1880 with beautiful charm and character. It has a central turned gallery flanked by two small bank of drawers, each having three small working drawers with original brass handles and decorative back edge. This fine antique desk has a central pen holder with sloping writing slope and this opens to reveal a useful storage area and several pigeon holes. This sits above a central drawer over knee-hole and each pedestal has four graduating drawers with moulded edges and original, decorative quality brass handles. This quality antique desk stands on a moulded plinth with brass castors, it has reeded sides with shaped brackets. It splits into three sections for removal and has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
