A mid Victorian mahogany kneehole desk of small proportions in one piece, the rectangular top with the original pale green leather insert with gilt tooled edge and banded border over two long drawers with the kneehole below and with three graduated drawers each side, all with brass lock escutcheons and with gilt brass swan neck handles, on lightly spreading bracket feet. English circa 1870.
Condition: Excellent, the desk is in great condition, the leather has one or two marks commensurate with its age but nothing significant. The piece has a nice colour and pleasing patination.
