A beautiful Edwardian oak roll top desk of large proportions and with a large width kneehole. The interior is very well fitted with numerous drawers, slides and pigeon holes. The writing surface is of a antique finish olive green leather with gilt tooling. All the external panelling is bevelled(fielded), usually a sign of a more superior quality construction and the pedestal drawers have attractive carving to the pulls. The brushing slides have matching leather surfaces. The roll has been re-backed to ensure you avoid the common problem of them splitting through use. The lock and key are present and working.
