Whilst this is a well made piece we think the attribution to Gillows is suspicious and likely done by a unscrupulous previous seller in the desk''s history. With that in mind this is still a desk of charming proportions and in excellent condition. The brass swan neck handles are later replacements but do fit well with the desk.
