An early 20th century walnut kneehole desk in the George II style, the top with moulded edge and crossbanding with herringbone inlay and matched veneers over a burr walnut frieze drawer with brass handles, over a kneehole with a arched recessed cupboard door and with three ash lined burr fronted drawers on each side, on slender bracket feet. English circa 1920. Two keys supplied.
Condition: Excellent; the piece is in exceptional condition, with well matched veneers and finely executed herringbone inlay on the drawer fronts, and it has a very pleasing colour.
