Really good size French walnut desk with double bombe front drawer sections and quarter veneered sides and drawer fronts, standing on beautifully shed and carved legs.Five drawers for storage which are all lockable and all running smoothly, also retaining their original brass handles too.The desk has a lovely warm walnut tone to it and the top has been sun bleached so it is a bit paler than the rest. Very decorative desk with the double bombe fronts and raised cabriole legs, also being a mid walnut tone means the desk doesn''t feel or look heavy. There are some age and use marks to the top, but most have polished out well and none of any concern. The top surface has the serpentine shaped edge and also a gallery back.
