Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The desk has a lovely warm walnut tone to it and the top has been sun bleached so it is a bit paler than the rest.
Very decorative desk with the double bombe fronts and raised cabriole legs, also being a mid walnut tone means the desk doesn't feel or look heavy.

There are some age and use marks to the top, but most have polished out well and none of any concern. The top surface has the serpentine shaped edge and also a gallery back. The tops has an overhang so it will sit flush against your wall at the surface level, rather than sitting in front of the skirting boards.

Really good quality and sensible desk for daily working at home.
