Description:
The desk incorporates a moulded top, which boasts top quality new full grain green inset leather with elegant gold tooling. The top section also features 3 drawers, including a wider central drawer, with a further three drawers to each pedestal, for a total of 9 drawers. The drawers boast elegant moulded fronts and also retain their original mahogany turned knobs. They are constructed with hand dovetail joints, with mahogany lining and quarter beading (a sign of quality). All the drawers retain their original working brass lever locks, with working. The pedestals sit on their original moulded plinths and castors, allowing the desk to be moved. The desk is freestanding which means it can be situated in the centre of the room. The desk can be dismantled into three sections for easy transport.

Condition Report:
This desk is in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the desktop frame, pedestals and plinths, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The desk incorporates a top quality new full grain green leather, which is in excellent condition and does not have any scratches, rips or stains on it. The desk has been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. The drawers are constructed with hand dovetail & quarter beaded joints and mahogany linings; they run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The drawers also retain the original turned mahogany knobs and working brass lever locks, with a working key. The back of the desk retains its original boards and the pedestals stand on their original castors. This desk is solid in joint and ready to use.
