The brass locks with makers name 'J. T. Needs - 100 New Bond Street' and 'Late J. Bramah – 126 Piccadilly' with royal warranty mark. Beneath are banks of 3 further matching drawers flanked by pilasters with moulded and ebonised decoration, over enclosed plinth bases. The sides of the desk with ebonised panels and with a polished back.
