Description

An oak desk of good quality, probably originally a schoolroom desk having good quality latch fittings to the lifting top with adjustable slope fixing positions. Discreetly placed, latched drawer for pencils or art materials & book resting edge to desk slope. On one end is the bracketed pot holder with brass cover over the ink pot ring & further ring brush pot holder. Typical design for the period around 1900 & useful for a variety of purposes.
