A Georgian Period Mahogany Partners Desk

Description

Dating from the Regency period, the desk is made from Cuban mahogany. With a cross banded top above drawers one side and unusual shallow cupboards the other the desk stands on a plinth bases and is of good quality and colour. The top has an inset faux leather and this can be changed for a hyde of any colour (a price can be supplied upon request). The knee clearance height is 24.5" (63cm) meaning it can be easily sat at. This desk has a good working width at 56 inches yet is only 30 inches deep making an unusual and very convenient proportion.
