Description

Good Quality Victorian Mahogany 9 Drawer Kneehole Desk. The oblong top having thumb moulded edge. Long drawer below with moulded edge and brass knob handles to the fall font. The interior having a baize lined lift section flanked by cedar lined ink wells and pen trays. When drawer is pulled out the baize section stays flat for writing when the drawer front is lowered it then slopes for reading. It has a void area below which can be accessed by lifting the baized section as it is hinged. The drawer front held by and released by button push brass holders. Each pedestal below having four fine mahogany lined drawers, The top right and bottom left ones having 2 slide out divides. All on plinth bases with moulded tops. The back unpolished and the desk is in one piece.
