An unusual antique South West Persian Gabbeh tribal rug. Naively drawn tree of life, goats and other tribal motifs woven on undyed wool ground. The browns are partially corroded lending the piece a 3 dimensional feel, aside from that, its in good original condition. These rugs are rare and this one has great charm an character. Circa 1900
