A superb quality freestanding Victorian brass bound campaign pedestal desk in figured satin birch with solid mahogany linings. The rectangular shaped top having brass edging and a replaced black leather writing surface with blind & gold tooling. The desk transports in 3 pieces, the top section having 1 long and 2 short drawers. The 2 pedestals with a further 3 graduated drawers and all having brass edging, sunken brass millitary handles and protective corner strips. The whole standing on plinth bases with further brass mouldings.The locks stamped V.R. and complete with working locks and keys.
