Attractive late Victorian coal purdonium in walnut with carved feature panel to the fall front and having brass fittings in the art noveau taste. This quality model has a single drawer on shelf above the fuel box, plus fitted mirror below the serpentine fronted top shelf.

Excellent condition for age, a practical and decorative furnishing item reflecting quality from its period, circa 1900.
