Inlaid Mahogany Desk

Description

A fine quality Sheraton Revival mahogany desk with marquetry inlays and ebony and boxwood lined satinwood crossbanding. Pierced brass galleries over a pair of hinged concave covers enclosing inkwells and compartments for writing accoutrements. Inset tooled and gilded leather writing surface. Seven mahogany lined drawers with keys. Spade feet with brass castors. In very good condition. Circa 1890.
