A fine 19th century Bakshaish carpet on unusual square format. Allover shrubs on very soft madder ground flanked by classic ivory borders. An extremely attractive carpet with good age that should appeal to collectors and decorators. Clean condition, even pile with minimal top flight repair, deep cleaned with all ends and sides secured. Circa 1880.
