Spectacular Victorian Heals Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk

This Spectacular 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk is by the renowned makers Heal & Son London and dates from ca. 1860. This stunning antique desk has a small raised back above a beautifully figured moulded top, with a central drawer over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating Mahogany lined drawers with turned handles and it stands on a moulded plinth. This is a truly stunning quality piece by a very good, well known maker and in super condition. The mahogany is a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
