1880 and has a tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer flanked by two smaller drawers all Mahogany lined, with the original decorative brass handles and beautiful inlays. This fine antique desk stands on four tapering legs with castors, it is finished on all sides so can be placed in the centre of a room if desired and the rosewood is a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
