A Late 19th Century Mahogany Pedestal Desk

Description

A late 19th century mahogany pedestal desk, the rectangular top with moulded edge and crossbanding and with a leather insert, fitted with a wide central drawers and smaller side drawers all with their original brass handles, over twin pedestals each fitted with three drawers and skirted base, with ceramic casters. This desk is an unusual size being 4’6” (137 cm) wide. English circa 1890.

Condition: Overall very good, the piece is of solid construction, the drawers slide well and the leather, while nicely worn, is the original and in very good condition.
