A Beautiful Late Victorian Mahogany cylinder desk. Having a rectangular solid mahogany top with fine crossband inlay above crossbanded and finely inlaid frieze. The cylinder fall front bureau with exquisite floral inlays enclosing a fitted mahogany interior, with a green leather gilt and finely tooled leather writing surface. The fall front and drawers veneered in the finest satinwood with ebony banding. The whole supported on square tapering supports with shaped brackets and geometric knops with brass castors, united by a bow-shaped under stretcher with fine crossband inlay throughout.
