This Late 19th Century Victorian Oak Antique Pedestal Desk dates from ca. 1880 and is by the renowned cabinet makers Jas Shoolbred.
Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with moulded edges and the original decorative brass handles. It stands on a moulded plinth and splits into three sections for ease of removal. This wonderful antique desk has the beautiful country house charm and character you expect to see with a genuine antique and the Oak has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
