Large Quality Edwardian Antique Mahogany Pedestal Desk

Of Super Large Proportions, This Marvellous Edwardian Antique Mahogany Pedestal Desk dates from around 1920. With a rectangular moulded top having a gadrooned carved edge and original tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer, over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with the original pierced brass decorative handles. This amazing antique desk stands on shaped cabriole legs, having ball and claw feet and has been finished at the back so may be placed in the centre of a room if so desired. It splits into three sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
