Description

Here we have a stunning and rare Art Deco period Mahogany partners desk c1920. As you can see the desk has great colour and patina. The desk splits into three parts with the top a single piece. The top has a beautiful shape with a supreme tooled and gilded leather skiver and a deep reeded edge. There are four drawers to each pedestal all with solid Mahogany linings and hand cut dovetail joints. This fine quality desk has Hobbs and Co locks and stamped escutcheons. The sides and insides of the pedestals have beautiful raised panels and the whole sits on a Rosewood finished plinth base. The otherside has two cupboards with fully adjustable shelves and raised panel doors with original Lucit handles. A super period and rare Art Deco desk in great retail condition ready for your home or office space. The dimensions are approx 72 inches wide 31 high and 48 deep.
