A most unusual Georgian mahogany writing desk /cabinet.The base with four cupboard doors and inverted breakfront,below a row of five drawers ,the centre three opening to support a fold over writing flap.The back has a concave centre with drawers and cupboards and two wing drawers below a polished top.A very useful piece of furniture that is multi purpose and only 56cm(22ins)deep.English Circa 1820.Fine colour and condition throughout.The writing height is 76cm(30ins).
