19th.c. carved oak pedestal desk circa 1890. Desk top with oxblood leather writing surface and carved edge over three drawers and raised on twin pedestals with 3 drawers across the top and a further 4 drawers to each pedestal. Superb drawer fronts with handles carved as the Green Man an ancient mythical figure with further carving of fruiting vine to the uprights. Panelled sides and rear, polished all round.in Excellent antique condition
