High Quality Large Victorian Mahogany True Antique Partners Desk

This High Quality 19th Century Large Victorian Mahogany True Antique Partners Desk dates from ca. 1850 and has a moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above a central concealed drawer over knee hole. This is a true partners desk with cupboards on both sides so two people can sit at it and it can be placed in the centre of a room as it is finished on all sides. Each side has two pedestals, one with a fitted bank of graduating drawers with flush brass handles and the other with a central shelf. This fine antique desk stands on a moulded plinth, it splits into four sections for removal and has been finished to a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
