High Quality Victorian Inlaid Antique Carlton House Desk

This 19th century High Quality Victorian Inlaid Antique Carlton House Writing Desk dates from ca. 1890 and is attributed to Edward and Roberts. It has a raised back with two concave shaped drawers with fine inlay and brass swan neck handles. It has a tooled leather writing insert with a bow front above a central drawer over knee hole, flanked by four smaller drawers, all Mahogany lined with fine inlays and brass swan neck handles. This stunning antique writing table stands on shaped tapering legs with castors, has fretwork carved corners and is a warm rich mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
