Description

A good Edwardian oak roll top desk of much above average quality. Externally all the panels are fielded (beveled) and the whole is French polished. This allows you to use the desk off the wall should you prefer. The interior has a nice arrangement of drawers and compartments, pens slides, etc. The original lock was missed so a reproduction replacement has been fitted to the roll. This now operates as it should, locking the pedestal drawers when closed. The central kneehole drawer has the original lock with key. The colour of this desk is a rich nut brown with a hint of rust and gold enhancing it's aesthetics. A super desk ready for the next 100 years and always a favourite to use and enjoy. Cleaned and wax polished and in great condition for it's age.
