A fine early 18th Century Walnut Kneehole Desk of outstanding colour and patina. The original brass handles having chased back plates and traces of the original gilding. The locks are original apart from the top drawer, the feet are partly original and quite unusually have been made in solid walnut. The Desk has wonderful clean original oak linings with the drawer fronts veneered on pine. The piece is feather banded with matched veneers throughout, the curly patches to the top are original to the piece.
