Edwardian Inlaid Figured Mahogany Kidney Shaped Desk

Description

Edwardian Inlaid Figured Mahogany Kidney Shaped Desk. The leather lined top with crossbanded surround with boxwood and ebony stringing and a satinwood banded edge. The side edges having double stringing. The 9 oak lined drawers having satinwood outline banding with inner stringing and brass swag drop handles. All around the kneehole which has shaped corner brackets with stringing. The interior sides having satinwood bandings as do the flared mahogany sides and back. The dividing stiles with stringing running into square tapered legs with square cap brass castors below the moulded base. This desk has a plate glass top with a bevelled edge if required.
