Quality Waring & Gillow Antique Edwardian Mahogany Desk

Dating from ca. 1900 and by the renowned cabinet makers Waring & Gillows, this Quality Antique Edwardian Mahogany Desk has a moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer over large knee hole. Each pedestal has three Mahogany lined drawers with quality brass handles, cock beaded edges and box wood key escutcheons. The corners are reeded and this fine antique desk stands on moulded legs with castors. It is finished on all sides so can be placed in the centre of a room if desired and it is a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
