Description

This interesting PAIR OF VICTORIAN UNCLE TOM'S CABIN PLATES date from circa 1850. They are entitled UNCLE TOM AT HOME (Aunt Chloe declared that they fairly took her head off with their noise) and UNCLE TOM PACKED UP FOR THE 'DOWN SOUTH' MARKET (Haley made fast a heavy pair of shackles to Tom's ancles (sic)).

The PLATES are in good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
