Description

Circa 1860, mid Victorian freestanding mahogany pedestal desk. The rectangular top with rounded edges has a burgundy, gilt-tooled writing surface over 3 mahogany lined frieze drawers with original, finely turned wooden knobs. All supported on banks of 3 graduated conforming drawers over a moulded enclosed base with hidden castors.
