Description

Heals 1930's Tilden Oak Desk

A good quality, solid English oak writing desk by Heals of London in the thirties. Made for and used in a top UK university. The top has a black leatherette writing surface whilst the Heals desk stands on Tilden gunbarrel turned legs that are joined by square stretchers on three sides. All in very good, clean and original condition, this desk has four drawers that are arranged around the kneehole. All the drawers run smoothly and have the original turned wooden handles.
