An Exceptional Exhibition Quality Inlaid Partners Desk in the Style of Holland and Sons.

Description

The beautiful shaped corner top with ebonised ground inlaid with the finest burr-walnut veneers to the side sections, the surface having an exquisite tooled and gilt leather top surrounded by burr-walnut veneers and ebony crossbanding, the edges having fine bead ormolu mounts around the perimeter, the carcass is home to two short drawers to the outer edges and one long draw to the centre, each having geometric ebony inlays with again beautiful burr-walnut veneers throughout, each lockable drawer having floral gilt escutcheons and bead mounts to the lower sections of the top, all supported on two pedestal supports with shaped sides encompassing the ebony turned columns with ormolu mounts framing the sides that hold round ormolu mounts and fine burr-walnut veneers with ebony crossbanding each carcass housing three equal size lockable drawers both finishing with stepped ormolu mounted bases.
