A Quality Late Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Cylinder Desk Circa 1890

Description

The crossbanded top with gilt gallery edge above an equisite roll top front leading to a magnificently inlaid fold out platform with floral and bow decorations, opening and supported by the pull out draw to reveal a green tooled leather writing surface with gilt trim, the roll top opening to present a fully fitted and interior with three slide drawers all with perfect gilt handles, compartements and inkwell slots, all standing on inlaid square tapering legs joined by a shaped lower tier finished with spade shape feet.
