Description

Very rare 19th century oak davenport type desk made by gillows for lancaster town hall, only a small number of these were commissoned for the council chambers one for each councilor this is number 11 and they very rarely come on to the market it is stamped gillows lancaster on the lock and it is in good antique condition with some rubbing around the base and general signs of use
