Old North West Persian Kurdish village rug with large central medallion on an ivory ground.

Circa 1920

A good village weaving, excellent drawing and good colours. This is one of the more unusual village designs, note the border which is often found on Heriz carpets. The bottom end retains the original flatwoven end finish.

Excellent condition with slight wear and good pile. The rug will stand up to heavy domestic use.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
